trailer:

guy and girl on bed on backs side by side. Guy rolls over to be on top of girl, lowers head for a kiss. She reaches across to her left, picking up pieces of paper (previously off-screen). Puts it in between their faces, “sign this.” Him: “What is this?” Her: “I want a home.”

Next shot, from behind, her standing on a balcony. Obviously nice hotel room. wind, view over city. He walks up next to her. “Why do you want a house?”

“I want a home. Instead of living in hotel rooms.”

“You don’t like living in the lap of luxury?”

Shot of bank robber (with ski mask) robbing a bank (“get down!” etc), smoothy, maybe shots of stumped police. News reporter: “The police do not know who, or where, this mysterious robber is.”

Shot of girl nosing around hotel room. same nice room. She goes into the safe, tries several combinations, stops and thinks, carefully slowly does one, it opens (shot from inside). (maybe skip to safe door opening from inside for trailer). She pulls out cash (is normal), pulls out bag of ski masks (confused).

Shot of him entering hotel room (shot from inside), she holds up bag, “what is this?”

shrug, “I like to ski.”

“yeah, in a safe?”

He grins, takes the bag,

shot of her face. shock, intrigue, confusion, curiousity.

at fancy dinner, “I wanna go home.”

He frowns, “Home? _______________[name], you haven’t talked to them in two years.”

She sets her shoulders but has misgivings. “I know.”

Shot of small-town train station. She’s there with suitcase. on platform alone. sets shoulders, sets into town.

Shot of her at old farm house. knocks, fearfully. mom answers door. shock, hug.

shot of her on phone in little bedroom. contrast that and hotel room.

her: “I’m gonna stay here for a while.”

displeased, “why?”

Holds ski mask in hands, “I...have to think.”

“I see.”

scene of him on dirt road, she walks up to him. “What are you doing here?”

“I came for you. You were happy with me. What happened?”

holds up ski mask, “who are you? I need proof that your work pays you what it does.”

He narrows eyes, grabs her wrist, walks resolutely away. She tries to resist, he conks her out.

Shot of hotel room. Eyes flutter, she starts with fright, “How did I get here?”

He slyly grins, “How do you think?”

She is frightened, looks to run, turns to face him. “Are you a bank robber?”

He nods, once. Very deliberately.

her eyes widen.
